#1071: Oley Ghost Hash

Oley Ghost, the Redemption Hash

Many of you weren't hashing yet when Ricky Dobby, the Hash Elf laid his prior and first trail during the reign of Fudgepacker the Magnificant. 
Rebuffing all attempts at tutelage, he was going to do it his way. Trail commenced on a blazingly hot day with a nearly 2 mile pavement slog straight 
down Manatawny Road. Then left and up the near vertical powerline, again in full sun. At the top, exhausted hashers were treated to thirst-quenching vodka shots. 
Then back down the mountain. Still a good 5-6 miles from the HHH, nearly all opted to autohash in ToeFU's SUV. The apres' included an entire half keg 
of Golden Monkey. To call the day a shitshow would be an understatement. But that won't happen this time....right? 
Fresh off double secret probation, Ricky Dobby has promised a gentle, scenic jaunt through the Oley Valley. And ToeFU has promised to insure he keeps that promise.

Ok Bitches…..this is a big one!!! This is the 35th Mother Fuckering Running of the Reading Hash House Harriers 4th O’ July Sunrise Hash. Some of you are not even 35 years old, or have parents married that long. Or to be honest have ever even had a friend that long! So if this has been going that long...hop the fuck OnOn!

I have always been a BIG BIG fan of the Hash History in Reading… (I being Foot the person writing this)...and this year WE THE HARES have something VERY special in store for you. So hash Historious that it outdates some of the Old Heads, they dont even remember it. Granted they have been drunk for for the last 35 years and can barely remember where they parked their cars, “Or where they live”....but dont let that dete’r you. It’s going to be fucking a fantastic Trail!!!!

So…..If you have never Listened to “Living In America” at Dawn with a beer in your hand you are barely considered American! If you have never been to an RH3 4th of July than i am not even sure you are actually a Hasher. If you are from RH3 and have never been to the 4th you better get your ass up at dawn, Dress in your Finest Red, White & Blue and join in what makes us Oh So Exceptionally Shitty here in Readiing!
